First Week Favorites

Welp, it’s already June somehow.  I had a couple days of bachelorette time this weekend so I got to knock out some blog stuff as well as make one hell of a strawberry cake which I can’t wait to share with y’all.  Two boxes of powdered sugar, two!  I even caked myself out which is pretty hard to do :)

Today though, I’ve got my June First Week Favorites! Just a random scatter of some of the things that have caught my eye around the web lately.

A handful of some of my favorite things around the web lately*some of these are affiliate links, meaning when you click them, I make a small percentage off any purchase you make.  They’re places I love and shop at myself, and doesn’t cost y’all anything, it just supports this blog a little :)

one
simple and free centerpiece ideas
I browse Food52 pretty often and loved this little feature they did on tablescaping with items from your home and nature.  Wood slices, air plants, tree branches, it’s all so fresh and beautiful.

two
black Smeg refrigerator
This little nugget showed up in one of the House of Turquoise features a couple of months ago but I kept forgetting to put it in here.  I still love this thing and it works perfectly in this adorable kitchen.  I mean really, can it get any better than a black Smeg with blue cabinets, butcher block counters, and the cutest little white subway backsplash?? No.

three
wooden flash drive
One of these little nuggets may be making its way to my house pretty soon.  Bloggers, how cute would it be to upload some project pics and your media kit, engrave it with your logo, and hand it out to brands?!?

four
cottage cabinet
Well, the pretty little number I included here isn’t available any longer, but there’s some dang fine substitutes on Joss & Main as per usual.  My ultimate goal in life right now is to find a slim little cabinet to move all of Matt’s our liquor into so I can reclaim the big shelf in my pantry.  If an old chippy paint one doesn’t show up soon around here, I may have to order one of these.

five
large wall hangings
I’m  such a sucker for wall tapestries, weavings, and macrame and these are just jaw-dropping.  She makes the clay beads on them herself too!  I have GOT to learn how to do this stuff man!

six
floral beach tote
The summertime is upon us (at least here it is) and you can never have too many cute beach totes, right?  This is just one of a ton of pretties in this shop, but I think it’s my favorite.  Cute little keychain too!
