I hope all of you guys are having a good long weekend and a good Labor Day! I had my one and only wisdom tooth out Friday morning and luckily it hasn’t been too much of a pain since it was already out and not impacted. It was the first time I’ve been put under for anything so that was a fun experience. When I came out of it, I had no idea they had already done the work so when I saw Matt in there, I told him to leave cause he wasn’t allowed in the room and that they haven’t even done it yet. I’m just relieved that’s as silly as it got after anesthesia! The only pain from it has been having to watch the husband and brother-in-law indulge in my favorite pizza, favorite sushi place, and my favorite burgers all weekend while I spoon chocolate malts, soup, and mashed potatoes. Jerks! Actually not really, I love chocolate malts and mashed potatoes so bring ’em on :) Other than nursing the tooth issue, our weekend has been perfectly low-key, full of sleeping in, cooking, hanging out with friends and family, and catching up on little crafts and to-dos around the house.
And so, here are my September favorites!

One
Draped Weaving
I recently got one of Lindsay from Hello Hydrangea’s weavings for our office gallery wall which I love but I am completely crazy about this new design she just did as well. I actually really want every single one she does but the draped strings on this new one are so cool.
Two
Brass Eyeball Floor Lamp
We need a new floor lamp for the office and ever since I saw the lamp in this room by Emily Henderson I’ve been on the hunt to find something similar. All I’ve found online are vintage ones which are super expensive and I know I’m not going to find one thrifting around here (although I have my thrifting friend Rosalie on lookout). I think the brass would look so gorgeous against our new navy walls in there and be such a focal point. If anyone knows where I can buy one for less than a fortune I’d love you forever. Really.
Three
Copper Hanging Plant
I loved the hanging plant in this post from House Tweaking and found this gem in their Etsy shop. Actually, all of their hangers are gorgeous, I’m just on a huge copper crush right now. I think two of the larger ones would be gorgeous flanking the bed in a light and bright master bedroom (which ours isn’t really). I have my eye on a couple of possible spots for one of these though :)
We don’t have kids yet but I still love me a beautiful gender-neutral, non-babyish nursery. Alot of my pinning some nights ends up being nursery and kid stuff somehow, and it’s actually one of my most planned out room designs… and I don’t even have an actual room for it yet. This crib stopped me dead in my tracks though and is perfect for my made-up future nursery. And yes, I entered to win it cause hey, you gotta be prepared.
Five
Tribal Pouf
This little guy will be located in my made-up nursery, next to the dream crib, probably at the foot of my Ikea Poang rocker and on top of the big faux sheepskin rug I’ll have in there. I still don’t have a pouf in our house somehow, how I don’t know cause I love almost every single one I see.
Six
Ona “Capri” Camera Bag
My friend Beth from Oak and Oats has this amazing Ona camera bag and I have now decided that it needs to be on my Christmas list this year. I am about a year overdue for a new, non-homeless looking, non-stained, non-floppy purse but the goal of my search changed when I got my new Nikon D3200 in April. Wouldn’t it be great to have a camera bag that looked like a purse, a shoulder purse – not a cross-body? (not a fan of cross-bodies) And the Capri is perfect.

Such great choices Emily! I love that clean and bright nursery. Is someone nesting? Can’t wait to see what you come up with if/when you do decide to have kids.:)
Hahahahaa, noooo! I just think there are so many cool nursery designs out there, and I like to share them to show that that space doesn’t have to be so “baby” all the time :) I’ll be ready to go when we do!
