Happy 2018 everyone!! What better way to start the year than being late with my First Week Favorites as usual? Obviously one of my resolutions is to stick to schedules for the blog, as much as possible, no matter how bogged down things may get. We’ll see how it goes…I’m not much of a resolution person but I want to get back into a good groove with the blog and my art shop in 2018 so I’m making resolutions for them.
So, let’s kick off 2018 around here with my January First Week Favorites!

recycled plastic phone case
I’m always a sucker for a pretty phone case, and these are pretty AND for a good cause. Each case is compostable and each purchase makes donations to various causes. I love the Save the Waves Coalition cases.
You guys know I love some reclaimed wood with gray paint so I was immediately smitten with these pieces. I think it’d be adorable as a linen cabinet in a bathroom or as unique nightstands in a bedroom.
LOVE these and they would be gorgeous out on the patio this spring!!
antique brass light fixtures
This whole antique brass finish trend is welcome to stay in my opinion, especially when it’s on nautical-inspired pieces like this light fixture collection. Of course I see it in a fun coastal bathroom but it would also work in industrial/vintage or modern spaces too.
industrial bar cart
I love this style of shelf and it’s even cuter as a little bar cart! I swear, I see so many adorable bar carts that I’d never be able to decide. I want them all!
mixed stitch rug
I find mixed textures much more appealing than mixed colors so this rug caught my eye right away. I’ve been thinking of a new rug for the living room, something a bit softer and more cushy for baby, and would love one with this much texture. Plus, this light gray color is so pretty.
Stay tuned for the reveal of our new living room ceiling fan soon! It’s been 8 years in the making!
