First Week Favorites

Talk about changes for 2015 guys!!  Look at this shiny new blog!  I posted my 2015 blog goals last week and one of them was to get switched over to WordPress from Blogger.  In just a few days everything was moved over, the last little touches have been done, and she’s finally ready to go.  Everything is so much easier on WP and there’s so many options it’s crazy, and learning it hasn’t been as difficult as I thought it would be. Definitely go WP if you’re starting up, I wish I had started there all along.  We set the new blog up so that posts are easier to find on the homepage and through the “Projects” and “Recipes” menus and so it’s a piece of cake to subscribe and follow along for new posts.  Eeee! I just can’t stop looking at it and hope you guys like it as well :)  On to the first Firsts for this year…

one
Rejuvenation sconce
Sconces are also in my master bedroom plans and in my window-shopping I came across these lovelies which also come in a beautiful satin bronze.  There’s a whole collection of them and I’d have every single one if I could.  Good ‘ol Rejuvenation comin’ through again.

two
Leather Desk Collection from Anthropologie
Must.have.office.space.  These are so cool and could probably be DIYed with some scrap leather actually.  There’s even a little pencil holder :)

three
Bluetooth Earbuds
Matt just got some of these for Christmas and they’re awesome!  I thought the little ear hook thingies would hurt but they’re actually alot more comfortable than regular ear buds.  The wire hangs like a sunglass holder and is even reflective for being out at night.  I may steal them during my DIY projects :)

four
DIY Concrete Waterfall Island
My friend Karisa and her husband over at Petite Modern Life have some mad DIY skillz but their latest project, this DIY concrete waterfall countertop, is freaking amazing.  I can’t wait to see how it all comes out!

five
Designs by Miss Mandee
Somehow I have just now discovered this blog and I’m in love with all the free graphics and printables she offers!  One of my goals for this year is to step up my graphics game so I can’t wait to delve into these.  Especially the art deco ones!

six
Joss and Main side chair
One of my goals for house stuff this year is to give our master bedroom an update (stay tuned for more of that later) and I’d love to have a comfy chair in the corner if I can fit it.  Thought this one was an awesome mix of comfy with a little funk.
