We had to combine our office and guest room last year to make room for Connor’s nursery, so that meant squeezing a queen sized bed into the room with my pipe shelves and little desk. The desk made it just tooooo cramped so out it went (along with a getting a little makeover itself) but now all our home network crap; printer, modem, office supplies, were orphaned on the ground. Not the most welcoming sight for guests and not the home decor statement we prefer to make.
Thanks to a few boards from the scrap wood pile (which recently grew thanks to Hurricane Harvey) and some rope, I was able to make a unique storage shelf to hold all those ugly but necessary accouterments for that little nook and get them up off the ground for some more floor space. I’m sharing the full tutorial over at Remodelaholic today!
