Many of you guys may remember my thrifting pro friend Rosalie, well a few years ago she bought herself the cutest little cottage in town and has been filling it with some of her best finds. It’s become such a sweet, warm, collected place and I love how she displays her treasures!
She’s ready to start upgrading some of the basics to bring the space together even more, and has started with a new fancy television and media stand, as well as the most adorable blue velvet channel back chair with nailhead trim (swoon!).
Opposite the blue beauty are gorgeous french doors that lead to the dining room and kitchen and on the wall between she has an oversize loveseat flanked by thrifted tables filled with more treasures and vintage frames.
How much of a score is that wicker elephant, right?!
While her space is cute as a button already, she has enlisted me to help her bring it even more together by adding and/or upgrading some of her pieces. On the docket is making a gallery wall above the TV, and finding a new coffee table, ottoman, and rug. We will be working on everything over the next month or so, but the very first thing we want to figure out is a new rug for the space.
The rug she currently has in there is actually our old jute one from Ikea that we got over six years ago. It has definitely seen it’s day and is time to go, it’s even raveling at the ends which is not cool! We’re teaming up with the awesome folks at PlushRugs.com to find her the perfect statement-but-vintage rug that looks like one of her amazing finds. They really specialize in area rugs which means they have a great selection of rugs in the large size we need for this space. It took us for.ev.er to pour through their huge selection but we were finally able to narrow it down to six choices.
They’re all such great options so we would LOVE if you guys could help us choose! Take a gander at them on the mood boards below, then let me know in the poll after which one you think would work best!
Thanks so much for helping us choose, this is hard!!!
We’ll be hard at work this month to find the perfect pieces and can’t wait to show you the new space! If you’re looking for a perfect rug for your space, Plush Rugs has an AMAZING selection with AMAZING prices, especially on their vintage-inspired rugs.

Oh my goodness, they’re ALL gorgeous! But I *think* my fave is number one! Can’t wait to see what you decide!!!
We couldn’t get it below 6 to choose from, we loved all of them!! I’m a big fan of one also :)
I had it down to 1,3, 4 and went with 4. I wanted one of those things where the results pop up after you vote…guess I will just have to keep following lol . I was going to anyway.
Thanks for voting Wendy!! It’s supposed to display a link to see the overall results after voting but Google Forms isn’t playing nice for some reason :/ I’ll keep playing with it and hopefully that will come up soon, I’m also one that likes to see what’s winning :)
LOVE 2 and 5 the most but had to go with 2 because it’s just such a pretty, soft blue. Good luck on the makeover! I’m so excited to see the reveal!
Thanks so much for voting Sarah!!
Had to go with number 2, but what a great selection! Beautiful and I hope she loves it!
It is so hard to choose, right?! Any of them will look so good in there :) Thanks April!
Beautiful choices Emily! I’m leaning towards 1 or 6! They really all fabulous though.
Those are my favorites too Deb ;)
Love #2! Such a beautiful rug and keeps things bright and airy. Although, I do think they’re all gorgeous, so you can’t go wrong! :)
SUCH a hard choice!! Thanks for helping us Samantha :)
I do love the space, not so in love with the t.v. and intertainment center. I feel the wall behind needs something. I think I would change the cushion on the stool and the pole lamp.
Thanks Patsy. Yes, I totally agree, and mentioned in the post that she will be doing a gallery wall above the TV and we will be finding a new ottoman/stool to go with the chair so that will help fix those problem areas. We can’t wait to see the new look!
